Orthodontics is a specialty that detects and treats crowded teeth and incompatible jaw relationships. Orthodontic treatment provides the development of the jaw at young ages and helps the teeth and closure to be in the correct position. There is no age limit for orthodontic treatment. However, the duration and planning of treatment may vary according to the age of the patient.

Fixed or removable devices are used in orthodontic treatment. The way in which these apparatuses will be made and used is decided according to the requirements of the treatment and the age of the patient. Removable devices are often preferred in children between the ages of 7-12 who have jaw development problems  (maxillary arch narrowness, mandibular prognathism, mandibular retrognathism, etc.). It is aimed to corrects irregularities of the jaw bones and realigns the jaws and teeth to improve the way they work by using removable devices.

In orthodontic treatments performed using fixed brackets made of metal, transparent or ceramic materials in children and adults with dental problems, the teeth are aligned properly in the jaw.

Today, with the increase in aesthetic concerns, many individuals who need orthodontic treatment want to be treated with less visible devices. With the development of orthodontic treatment techniques, alternative aesthetic treatment options such as aesthetic brackets and transparent dental plaques are offered to patients.

Clear Aligner Treatment; It is an orthodontic treatment performed using transparent dental plaques  plaques specially prepared with three-dimensional imaging techniques, without the use of tradionational brackets and wires. With digital treatment planning, it is aimed to correct orthodontic problems by using custom-made transparent plaques in a regular order. Having a transparent appearance and not being noticed when viewed from the outside gives a better aesthetic appearance. It is often preferred especially in adult patients with high aesthetic anxiety. Since the plaques can be inserted and removed, nutrition and oral hygiene are provided more easily and the patient undergoes a more comfortable orthodontic treatment process.
